GE in talks to sell NBC to Comcast

Filed under: Deals , Products and services , Industry , Competitive strategy , Money and Finance Today , Headline news General Electric Company (NYSE GE ), owner of the 83 year old peacock NBC, wants to sell part of it to Comcast Corp (NYSE: CCT ), according to Alisa Roth, who reports that GE has entered into negotiations with Comcast to do just that. Comcast is already the biggest cable operator in the country.

And that’s why I’m Reiterating my Buy rating for Adobe (NASDAQ: ADBE ), first recommended on June 9, 2009 at a price of $29.77. If you bought ADBE then, you’re up about 8%.
